San Francisco’s Mid-Market neighborhood is transforming into a vibrant cultural hub for the inaugural Market Street Arts and Theater Festival on Saturday, October 17. Spanning six blocks along Market Street from 5th to Van Ness, the free event features more than 100 arts and cultural organizations. Mid-Market Foundation Executive Director Fernando Pujals joined KTVU to preview the festival lineup, which includes vertical dance performances above UN Plaza, circus acrobatics, a cable car drag karaoke show, and an Orpheum Theater sing-along.
